Jiayue Yu is a multidisciplinary visual artist working across photography, 3D rendering, and video. Her practice explores how individuals navigate desire, uncertainties, and exhaustion within broader socio-economic systems. Focusing on the influence of technology and urban environments, she traces how individual and collective agency are continuously mediated, yet materialize in gestures, objects, and surfaces.
